Quick July Update from CW Founder and Lead Guide Scott
(July 17, 2012)
A quick update as we exit a wonderful Stampede 2012.
Calgary Walks recently enjoyed its largest tour group, 22 persons, which we broke down into 2 separate groups. All of our guests continue to rave about our beautiful city and have especially enjoyed the hanging baskets and planted flowers found at many places around the city including City Hall plaza , the pergola around Olympic Plaza and the River Walk. It also been interesting to watch the Bow River rise with the June rains and the snow melt in the mountains, in fact one of our favourite walks underneath the Centre Street Bridge has been flooded out for much of the past month.Needless to say we’ve made a small detour and continue on our route.
We’ll talk soon.
