This bus tour will explore our modern city in contrast with an era gone by.  Your Tour Guide will provide insights, stories, and background while we travel around Calgary highlighting those areas that are related to the exhibits and buildings that you will see during your visit to Heritage Park Historical Village.

Upon your arrival at Heritage Park, enjoy a streetcar ride* that begins your experience (* based on seasonal availability).

Heritage Park has over 180 attractions and exhibits as well as full-service restaurants both inside and outside of the Park gates (not included in the price of this tour).  Your visit to the Park will vary depending on the time of year you choose to visit.  Your pass into the Park will provide you full access to all the Park has to offer, including Heritage Town Square, Gasoline Alley Museum, Prairie Railway Village, 1860’s Fur Trading Fort & First Nations Encampment, 1880s Pre-Railway Settlement, amusement rides, tasty treat snack voucher and a full day of exploring.  You will discover Heritage Park at your leisure on a self-guided tour.  Explore Heritage Park Historical Village’s website and plan where your first stop will be for lunch (and perhaps save the tasty treat snack voucher for something special for dessert).

On this tour, before we arrive at Heritage Park, you will have access to a wonderful vantage point where you can obtain some great photos of a Calgary viewpoint to share later.

Important note:  While we make every effort to ensure your safety and comfort, our vehicle does not allow space for mobility aids (walkers,  wheelchairs, etc).  Please consider this when booking your tour.   If you have questions regarding this, please contact us before booking.

At the end of the day, our bus will arrive at Heritage Park to pick you up and return you downtown where your tour ends.  Pick-up time at Heritage Park is approx 5:15 p.m. depending on traffic.

This tour includes full access to Heritage Park Historical Village.  Once you’ve completed your time at Heritage Park, we will return you to Downtown at the end of the day and complete your tour.  Confirmation of pickup time at Heritage Park to return downtown will be provided by your Tour Guide prior to your visit there (approx 5:15 pm depending on traffic).

The Calgary Tower location is an ideal, unique location to begin our tour from. We stop on the west side of the tower (look for the Ruth's Chris Steak House sign on the sidewalk!)
