CalgaryWalks Mid-Summer Update
Although we’re technically closer to the end of the summer than the middle, we’re not quite ready to admit it just yet, especially with the eventful summer we’ve been having (and hopefully yours has been great as well).
We had a great first year of operations last year and had secretly hoped we’d be even busier this year. Sure enough, it seems as though the word is spreading, and things have been blissfully busy for the CalgaryWalks team all season long. Following the devastating floods which crippled our city at the end of June, we were fortunate enough to experience in July our busiest month ever (with August continuing the trend).

Not only are we grateful to have had such a busy month of July, but the timing couldn’t have been better, as we pledged 100% of proceeds for July to go towards flood relief efforts in Calgary and area. Whether they knew it or not, our July guests were doing a great thing by joining us, and ultimately helping our afflicted fellow Calgarians.
