Westjet’s Christmas Surprise Warms the Heart [video]

The good folks at Westjet have done it again. Last year around this time, over 100 Wesjet volunteers (or Westjetters, as they refer to themselves) banded together to surprise passengers with a Christmas flashmob as they awaited a red-eye flight, and the outcome was beautiful.

This year, however, they’ve completely outdone themselves, with what we’d like to think is one of the most heart warming videos of the year. Passengers in Toronto who were bound for Calgary, were given an opportunity to scan their boarding passes for a chance to chat via video link with a real-time, real-life Santa Clause. Little did they know, but as they were telling Santa what they’d like for Christmas, more Westjetters were listening in and writing down all of the Christmas wishes.

The what happened next was absolutely priceless.
