The Best Problem to Have [blog post]
This afternoon was a bright and sunny one in Calgary. Although still fairly chilly, it was a great indication of what will be to come this spring and summer. If you were out and about on the streets of downtown Calgary today you may have noticed a pair of bundled up locals; walking a bit, then stopping and staring at this building or that, jotting down some notes, then pointing and commenting on each sculpture that they walked by, and of course jotting more notes.
Whether you noticed them or not, CalgaryWalks co-founders Mitch and Joanne (2/3 of the founding team) were out and about today walking through our sunlit streets as we continue to finalize our tour routes and the stories that we will share as we go. However, we have realized that we have run into a rather large problem, a large but good problem; there are so many stories and so much history packed into each and every block of this city, that we are going to have to pick and choose only the very best to ensure that we keep our tours in the 2 hour range.
Not that we’re complaining, in fact, we couldn’t think of a better problem to have.
