CalgaryWalks Alberta Flood Relief Donations
Following 10 long days off of touring as a result of the devastating Southern Alberta floods, we’re thrilled to have been out on tours all week this week. We’re fortunate to be back to work, but know that thousands of our neighbours and friends are still feeling the effects of the floods, and indeed many are just beginning down a long path towards restoring their homes and way of living.
Although we’ve been able to spend a good deal of time helping out both friends and strangers in Calgary and area over the past week, we believe there is always opportunity to help even more.
With this in mind, CalgaryWalks is proudly donating 100% of proceeds from all walking tours for the month of July (including all tour fees already collected this week) to Calgary-based charity Samaritan’s Purse. Funds donated to Samaritan’s Purse cover a wide range of needs, from providing hygiene kits, to equipping volunteers for their varied (and often daunting) tasks, and funding the clean-up of many many affected homes.
We will be donating the month’s total at the end of the month, and any and all gratuities will also be donated directly to Samaritan’s Purse.
We look forward to seeing you on a walking tour and showcasing our brave and resilient city of Calgary.

Kudos to Calgary Walks for your generosity in donating July’s proceeds and gratuities to Samaritan’s
Purse!
It is the least we can do. Thank you for the kind comment 🙂
