View public art in Stampede Park as we weave the story of Western Canada, the origins of Calgary, and the Calgary Stampede. Follow the history of the Treaty 7 First Nations and experience the excitement of early settlers. Hear the “Dream” that created the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth and explore the Western culture that is uniquely Calgary.
Enjoy viewing authentic pieces up close and personal while walking the grounds of the Calgary Stampede to discover many hidden gems in plain sight.
This tour concludes at the SAM Centre where you can experience interactive exhibits that bring the Calgary Stampede history to life. Same day entrance to the SAM Centre admission is included with this tour when available.

Although advance booking is not required, it is recommended.

Note: this tour takes place on the Stampede Grounds at Stampede Park which means that it is NOT available during prime-time Calgary Stampede activity dates.

TOUR TIME: Afternoons at 2:00 PM
Book online now!This tour begins just outside of the south doors of the BMO Centre at Stampede Park at the impressive Spirit Of Water sculpture. A must-see piece reaching 21 meters high, this water droplet sculpture, is an excellent place to start this tour. Meet your guide there.
Route access may vary depending on construction, event schedules or activities at Stampede Park. (Washroom facilities may be limited while on this tour.)
At the end of this tour, you will be provided access to the SAM Centre (south entrance, admission included) when available.
