XploringCalgary Bus Tour
Our XploringCalgary Bus Tour has become a favorite – at least that is what our guests have told us in reviews we have received on sites including Trip Advisor!
See what makes Calgary unique and learn about some of the history which has set Calgary on its way to the city it is today. We travel over 80 km (50 miles) as we tour the city so that you can see the neighborhoods we call home and some of the sites that we enjoy every day.
Regardless of the XploringCalgary tour you choose below (either XploringCalgary Bus Tour OR XploringCalgary Including Gasoline Alley Bus Tour), the route and information are identical throughout the year. The difference is whether you will have access to Gasoline Alley at Heritage Park. Access changes based on seasonality and Gasoline Alley availability. Prices and tour duration reflect the addition/omission of Gasoline Alley access.
The information provided in the descriptive tabs below (on the left) is the same – regardless of which XploringCalgary Bus Tour you select.
This tour is a must for any visitor to Calgary
Join us on one of our XploringCalgary Bus Tours and explore the sites of our diverse and booming city, rich with history and modern influences.
Although Calgary is often thought of as being the next North American cosmopolitan city, it has maintained its country roots at the core.
Our guides will provide an engaging and interactive experience that brings our city to life as only a personal introduction can. You’ll learn about the landmarks and public spaces that make Calgary an interesting blend of the old west and new urban center. Enjoy the diverse stories that provide an entertaining view of the city that was once known as “rail town”, “sandstone city”, and finally “oil town”.
Highlights of this tour range from viewing the urban center and what makes Calgary an interesting place, to the history that formed our city.
Our tour provides you with several places where you will exit the vehicle, learn about the area you are visiting, and get some great photos to share later. While we make every effort to ensure your safety and comfort, our vehicle does not allow space for mobility aids (walkers, wheelchairs, etc). Please take this into consideration when booking your tour. If you have questions regarding this topic, please do contact us before booking.
