Historic Calgary Week 2014

Hello from the CalgaryWalks team!

We’re in the middle of what is one of our favourite weeks of the year: Historic Calgary Week (runs through August 4).

HCW is a great opportunity to celebrate and learn about Calgary’s interesting and rich heritage; one which is sometimes lost in the mix as the focus here is often on the fast paced and growing nature of our fair city.

We love Historic Calgary Week because it gives visitors and residents alike a great chance to get immersed in the many varied activities going on throughout the city during this time. There are some great programs put on by the Chinook County Historical Society, the Chinese Cultural Center, and many more which we suggest checking out.
