Walking in the Right Direction [blog]
(April 23 ’12)
We have long suspected that visitors to our great city have been looking for something new and different to do when in Calgary. As we continue our marketing activities aimed at letting the Calgary travel/tourism community know that we are getting ready to hit the streets, we are starting to see some very positive signs that our suspicions just might have been well-founded.
In addition to some brainstorming with a couple of amazing local charities about possible partnerships last week, this week as well has started off with promise. Shortly after scheduling an impromptu Custom tour for Monday afternoon, we were fortunate enough to confirm a 30-person tour for late May, which should be an absolute blast.
Not only have we been receiving interest from diverse groups and individuals from all over the globe looking to experience Calgary’s downtown, but we have also been approached by some very established tourism industry brands who are interested in partnering as well. This is a very encouraging sign that we are in fact, and as planned, offering something that people have been looking for when visiting Calgary and Southern Alberta. We are of course very open to partnering with other providers and organizations; if this is you or someone you know, why not send us a note? We’d love to connect.
