CalgaryWalks & Bus Tours

You can get to know Calgary from a bus or walking tour.  Sometimes it's best to walk the streets to discover Calgary's secrets and sometimes it's best to jump on the bus and explore the distances.  Either way, it's best to do that with a knowledgeable guide leading the way.

Our guides will give you an entertaining, informative experience that brings our city alive as only a face-to-face introduction can.  You’ll learn about the landmarks and public spaces that make Calgary an evocative blend of the old and new west.  You’ll also discover where to dine and shop as well – and how to get around downtown for free.

Join one of our experienced guides as we explore everything Calgary’s dynamic downtown has to offer. Our tours fill up, so book now to walk with us on your desired date.

Exploring Calgary by bus lets you sit back, ignore the traffic and just take in the scenery and stories you see and hear so that you can get the most out of your visit to Calgary.

If you’re interested in a group booking, or perhaps looking for a tour of a special or undiscovered location in Calgary, get in touch with us so we can create the tour especially suited to your needs.

3 Ideas for a Memorable Mother’s Day in Calgary

Flowers? Check. Hand-made card? Check. Brunch reservations? Check.

Sure, all of the above are essentials for any Mother’s Day, but this year, why not take it a step further and plan to have an amazing experience that you’ll remember for years to come? Calgary and its amazing surrounding area is filled with many experiences waiting to happen, and seeing as we’re off the streets this (and every) Sunday, it’s likely you’ll find our family out at one of the following places as well!

Here are three of our top recommendations for a special Mother’s Day:

1 – Take a hike/walk/bike in Fish Creek Park. Not only is this our very favourite sanctuary in our sprawling city, but it is also one of Canada’s largest urban parks. Whether you’d prefer a long distance bike ride, or perhaps a nature walk along the park’s extensive pathway system, there’s truly something for everyone in this breathtaking park that spans 20 KM in the south of the city.

2 – Explore Inglewood. Known as Calgary’s oldest neighborhood, Inglewood truly has it all. Whether you’re interested in a light stroll along 9th Ave to check out the area’s many shops and restaurants, or if nature is more your speed, there’s always the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary, and of course the Calgary Zoo.

3 – Take in a performance at the Epcor Centre for Performing Arts. With many venues under one roof, there’s no shortage of entertainment options for everyone. There are a likely a number of matinees on Mother’s Day.

These are just a few of our favourite things to do in and around Calgary, what are your favs?

Happy Mother’s Day to all the special ladies out there!
